BEACH PROTECTION COST-BENEFIT

Project Description:

Sligo County Council planned to undertake Coastal Protection Works at Rosses Point, Co. Sligo. LCE was appointed to carry out an economic appraisal to assess the economic benefit a coastal protection structure would have on the area. The works protect the public footpath that provides access to the second beach at Rosses Point.

Feasibility assessment for Local Authority funding application to OPW
Economic appraisal based on the guideline document “Flood and Coastal Erosion Risk Management- A Manual for Economic Appraisal.”
